About Us
Each person brings their passion. What’s yours? We’re growing in 2024!
The Alki Community Council (ACC) is an all volunteer non-profit neighborhood group striving to advocate and support the Alki community by coming together to:
-
Promote the orderly and comprehensive enhancement, preservation, and improvement of our neighborhood and beach;
-
Initiate or respond to actions that affect the physical, social, educational, and economic betterment of the neighborhood;
-
Encourage the participation of Alki residents in decisions affecting our neighborhood;
-
Encourage cooperative and democratic processes;
-
Communicate with, cooperate with, and support as appropriate, government agencies, private or public organizations, and individuals with objectives similar to the Alki Community Council; and,
-
Reflect the views and concerns of residents.
We believe in the power of community. Together, we can create positive change, support one another, and build a stronger, more vibrant Alki neighborhood.
Our Mission
At ACC, our mission is to actively advocate for the needs and interests of the Alki community. Through collaboration and engagement, we work towards creating a thriving and inclusive neighborhood for all residents.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see a united and empowered Alki community, where every voice is heard and valued, and where everyone has access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive.
